We do not collect payment information through the Site.
How we use your data
Your contact details are used solely to respond to your callback request. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If your project proceeds, we may share necessary project details with vetted, independent project managers and service providers for the purposes of scoping and coordinating your project. This will be done with your prior knowledge.
Retention
We retain contact form data for up to 12 months from the date of submission, unless a project relationship is established, in which case we retain relevant records for the duration of the project plus 7 years for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@assaba.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where you have explicitly consented, on the basis of consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Service Model & Independent Providers
Assaba is a modular kitchen furniture supplier and project coordination service. We do not directly employ project managers or trade service providers (plumbers, electricians, installers, etc.).
Project managers introduced through our coordination service are independent professionals. They are not employees or agents of Assaba.
Trade service providers — including installers, plumbers, electricians, tilers, and other specialists — are independent contractors. Contracts for their services are between the client and each provider directly.
Vetting statement
Project managers introduced by Assaba have been assessed based on professional experience, communication ability, and references. Vetting is conducted at the point of onboarding and reviewed periodically.
Trade service providers are recommended or introduced by project managers within the network. Assaba does not independently vet all trades, but relies on the project manager's professional assessment and network.
Assaba does not guarantee the work quality of any independent project manager or service provider. Any disputes regarding trade work quality are between the client and the relevant service provider.
Role boundaries
Assaba's role: supply of modular furniture, provision of the coordination framework, introduction of project manager, handling fee collection.
Project manager's role: on-site coordination, trade scheduling, issue resolution, client communication during works.
Client's role: primary decision-maker, direct payment to service providers, approval of design and scope changes.
Payments & Fees Disclosure
Modular furniture
The cost of modular furniture is quoted by Assaba based on the client's kitchen dimensions and chosen configuration. Furniture is invoiced by Assaba in FCFA (XOF). Pricing is subject to change based on specification changes or site conditions discovered during the project.
Service provider costs
Costs for trades (plumber, electrician, installer, etc.) are quoted and invoiced directly by each service provider. Assaba does not mark up or take commission on trade costs. Trade invoices are between the client and the service provider.
Handling fee
A handling fee is charged by Assaba for the coordination framework service. This fee covers: project scoping support, project manager matching and introduction, and ongoing availability as a coordination support contact throughout the project.
The handling fee is disclosed upfront as a percentage or fixed range before any project commitment is made. The handling fee does not cover trade costs, project manager fees (if applicable), or any costs incurred by service providers.
Indicative pricing
All budget ranges presented on this Site and in proposals are indicative only. Final costs depend on kitchen dimensions, scope of works, trade rates in your area, and site conditions discovered during the project. Firm quotes are provided before any contractual commitment is made.
